Homework Connection is an after school program that runs for one hour, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. beginning September 16. The purpose of the program is for students to have the opportunity to learn good work habits and complete their homework with the support of a teacher. Students will be offered an after school snack, and then will work on their homework. This program is offered in a group setting, therefore teachers are not able to offer individual tutoring but can check homework, and lead small study groups for upcoming tests and quizzes.
Students in Grades 1-3 will meet in Mrs. Thomas' Room (NEW ROOM THIS YEAR)
Students in Grades 4-8 will meet in Miss Coster's Room (NEW ROOM THIS YEAR)
ALL Homework Connection students will be dismissed from the Library's back door at 4 p.m.
The cost of the program is $10 per day with a minimum commitment of two days a week per trimester. All other students must pay a different rate as explained on the attached flyer.
