VIRTUS

With our longstanding commitment in mind, all parishes and Archdiocesan Catholic schools utilize VIRTUS. This compliance management system enables them to facilitate compliance with Archdiocesan child protection requirements for all volunteers, employees, and clergy who work with minors.

For New Volunteers:

All individuals wishing to work or volunteer at our school must undergo appropriate screening and training and provide three written references to the school.

All training and documentation takes place through the VIRTUS website. As a new volunteer, you will need to register online first. To register (VIRTUS link is in the step-by-step instructions):

1. Click "First-Time Registrant."

2. Select "Begin the registration process."

3. Next, select "Baltimore Archdiocese."

4. Create your login ID and password.

You will be asked to provide three references. Click here for step-by-step instructions.

**PLEASE NOTE: You must ask these three references to complete the Archdiocese of Baltimore Reference Check for Volunteers form and return all three forms to the St. Joseph School's Main Office. Please contact Mrs. Erica Brazier with any questions.
